Time is one of our most precious commodities just as our Volunteers are, without our Volunteers we would only be an idea. Care and Share is able to function and run daily due to the generosity of over 100 volunteers. Why so many volunteers – some only volunteer once a month, others volunteer three days a week, but believe us when we say it takes all of them it really does. And we are so THANKFUL for them ALL!!
What does volunteering look like?
Two hour blocks of time on Mondays, Tuesdays &/or Thursdays 9:00 – 11:00, 11:00 – 1:00, 1:00 – 3:00; & Tue 3:00 – 5:00; 5:00 – 7:00
The frequency of this is up to you, weekly, once a month or more frequently. The type of volunteering work we have fall into a few existing categories and we have a few new categories on the horizon.

Food Pantry – stocking shelves or walking with the shopper

Clothing Pantry – helping with handing out limited items and packing up the customer’s shopping

Receiving Donations, Sorting and Stocking Shelves

Sorting, hanging, packing donations and restocking floor

Pulling orders for the My Choice Box program
